Membership

The Institute welcomes members from a wide variety of scientific and associated disciplines.

Membership of the AIAS provides:

  • Access to the members only area of the website – including private member discussion forums and networking
  • Periodical e-newsletter
  • Earlybird Conference Pricing
  • Social Event invites including online “Morning Teas”
  • Invites to extraordinary seminar/meetings – at Executive Discretion
  • Inclusion to the Mail List for “Live” AIAS related updates

Membership is open to any individual who is engaged in anatomical education and research and its associated fields.

If you are a prospective member, you will first need to apply with an expression of interest (EOI) which is accessible below. Only once your EOI has been accepted should you proceed to pay for your membership. Your EOI will need to be supported by a current member of AIAS or the AIAS executive if you do not know any AIAS members to support your EOI.

How to Join: 2 Steps

Important: Do not pay for membership until your Expression of Interest has been accepted. Payments submitted before EOI approval cannot be processed and may delay your application.

Step 1 — Submit an Expression of Interest (EOI)

All prospective members must first submit an EOI. This is a requirement of the AIAS Constitution.

Your EOI must be supported by a current AIAS member. If you don’t know a current member who can support your application, the AIAS Executive can support it instead — just note this in your EOI.

The Secretary or Committee will review your EOI and contact you once it has been accepted.

Step 2 — Pay for Your Membership (only after EOI acceptance)

Once you receive confirmation that your EOI has been accepted, complete the Membership Application and Payment Form below.
